Perhaps you're driving a newer vehicle, where the key simply needs to be in your pocket in order to start the car. These vehicle systems use Smart Key or Proximity Key technology. Depending on the vehicle manufacturer, this system may be referred to as PROX or Twist Knob Ignition (Nissan / Infiniti), Keyless GO (Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, RAM), Passive Entry Passive Start PEPS (Ford / GM), FOBIK (Chrysler, Jeep Dodge, RAM). These vehicles are recognizeable by their “Push Button Start”. As with new technologies, there are times when some telephone support may be needed to make everything work properly. Feel free to call. Other times, your smart key may require a replacement battery, or reprogramming, or programming of some presonalized settings. Help is only a phone call away. Then, there are the times when more specialized help is needed, such as when all of the Smart Keys have been lost or stolen.
